We are seeking a Scrum Master to lead our teams in utilizing the Scrum framework to deliver high-impact value to the organization. This role is crucial for facilitating the successful delivery of highly visible, complex projects in support of Broadridge's technology product development teams. The Scrum Master will lead a full Agile team of 5-9 members through the complete Agile process lifecycle, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices. The ideal candidate will provide mentorship on agile processes and lead agile ceremonies and other team meetings. They will partner closely with the Product Analyst/Owner to ensure that teams effectively manage backlog requirements and meet sprint objectives while removing any blockers or impediments. This position requires a strong leader who can direct Associate level Scrum Masters and establish best practices that exemplify the values and principles of Agile and Scrum. The Scrum Master will act as a Servant-Leader and Coach, guiding the Scrum team to adopt mature Agile/Scrum methodologies and ensuring adherence to the organization's defined processes and practices. In this role, you will facilitate Agile processes including sprint iteration planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, retrospectives, and release planning. You will ensure the successful completion of assigned projects through effective facilitation and leadership, manage release plans, iteration plans, forecasting, and status reporting for designated projects. Additionally, you will support risk and issue identification and mitigation activities with the agile team, encouraging collaboration and seeking opportunities to improve teamwork across distributed teams and other support teams. Building a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed effectively is essential, as is ensuring transparency around project goals and progress.
