About the position

This is a remote role that may only be hired in Arizona. The position supports the management of product and software development teams as a leader. The primary responsibility is to ensure that development teams adhere to scrum framework values and agile practices. This includes mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments. The role also involves assisting in increasing team efficiency and providing motivation and guidance for process improvement. The individual in this role will utilize agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions effectively. They will facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team, monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and drive a culture of agility and learning. Daily team meetings will be facilitated to gather updates on project progress, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that the project remains on track. Regular sessions will be hosted to share updates with product stakeholders about the project's progression, ensuring that the team meets deadlines with the desired outcomes. Additionally, the position involves planning and organizing demos and product/system testing, ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes, and removing impediments for the scrum team. The individual will also track project processes, deliverables, and financials, preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Project Management in an Information Technology organization OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Project Management in an Information Technology organization.
  • Scrum Certification Required.
