In this role, you will be responsible for translating the requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describing it through a set of architecture and design documents. These documents are then used by the rest of the development team to implement the solution. The process of defining architecture by the Solutions Architect often involves the selection of the most appropriate technology for the problem being solved, impact assessment, as well as technical and operational feasibility. You will also be responsible for developing the high-level strategy to solve business problems and ensuring that solutions adhere to enterprise standards. This position may be aligned to an applications or a technology stack.

Responsibilities

  • Translate requirements created by functional analysts into architecture and design documents.
  • Develop high-level strategies to solve business problems.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards.
  • Select appropriate technology for the problems being solved.
  • Conduct impact assessments and evaluate technical and operational feasibility.
  • Direct and manage the work of others in a delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate and track the progress of work activities, including developing schedules and managing delivery against plans.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience leading a team in a Scrum master capacity to deliver on software development, strategic planning, and policy/standards creation.
  • In-depth knowledge of JIRA for work management and Confluence for collaboration.
  • Proficient in establishing Sprint and Kanban constructs to manage and track the progress of work activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Bank tools for adjunct work management (Release Manager, Agile View, etc.)
