This position is designed for individuals who are knowledgeable in Agile practices and can educate others on the principles of scrum. The Scrum Master I acts as a facilitator, helping to maintain a safe and productive working environment for the team by resolving conflicts and addressing any impediments that may arise during the development process. This role is essential in bridging the gap between the scrum team and the product owner, ensuring that communication flows smoothly and that the team remains focused on delivering high-quality results. The individual in this position will be expected to guide the team in scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the scrum and development team to ensure effective implementation of Agile methodologies.
  • Educate team members and stakeholders on scrum principles and practices.
  • Act as a buffer between the scrum team and product owner to facilitate communication.
  • Maintain a safe and productive working environment for the team.
  • Help with conflict resolution and address any impediments that arise during the development process.
  • Guide the team in scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track the team's progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Entry to intermediate experience in a scrum master role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a similar field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
