This position is for a Senior Scrum Master at a well-known Financial Services Company located in Minneapolis. The Scrum Master will also be tasked with identifying improvement opportunities to enhance team velocity and performance. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the scrum process with cross-functional impact involving moderately complex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work.
  • Guide scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices, promoting prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities for higher levels of team performance.
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle and ensuring compliance with risk, security, and development requirements.
  • Partner with discipline managers regarding governance policies and adherence to corporate standards.
  • Facilitate Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams.
  • Collaborate with product owners, program, or project managers to communicate delivery of work products and escalate key risks and issues.
  • Consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Interact with internal customers and exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of practicing Agile Scrum Master experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
