About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our investment management team as a Scrum Master. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the agile development process within our investment management teams. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with the Product Owner, development team, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of investment management solutions. Your strong knowledge of scrum methodologies and investment management industry will be crucial in driving successful project outcomes. As a Scrum Master for investment management teams, you will facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will coach and guide team members on agile principles, scrum practices, and continuous improvement. Collaborating with the Product Owner, you will define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with investment management goals. Fostering a collaborative and productive team environment will be essential, promoting open communication, transparency, and a culture of accountability. You will identify and help remove any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the progress of the investment management teams. Monitoring and tracking team progress will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring adherence to sprint goals, timelines, and quality standards. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between investment management teams and stakeholders will be crucial to ensure their requirements and expectations are understood and met. You will also promote and support the adoption of agile best practices, tools, and techniques within investment management teams. Continuously assessing and improving the agile development process will be part of your role, identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing necessary changes. Staying updated on industry trends, investment management practices, and emerging technologies will allow you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the team.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, finance, or business administration
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role, preferably in investment management or financial services
- Strong understanding of investment management processes, including portfolio management, trading, risk management, and compliance
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) and practical experience in their implementation
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in an agile environment, meeting time, budget, and quality expectations
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
