About the position

We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master with a strong background in Agile methodologies and extensive experience in Data Center and Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting on or participating in moderately complex initiatives, delivering within Scrum or Agile frameworks, and contributing to large-scale planning related to Scrum deliverables. This role requires a deep understanding of Scrum Master responsibilities, particularly within Data Center and Infrastructure environments, and the ability to navigate and resolve moderately complex challenges. The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with client personnel to ensure successful project delivery. In this role, the Scrum Master will consult on or actively participate in moderately complex Scrum or Agile initiatives, specifically related to Data Center and Infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. The Scrum Master will contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to Scrum deliverables, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning. They will review, analyze, and address Scrum-related challenges within the context of Data Center and Infrastructure, applying an in-depth evaluation of variable factors to develop effective solutions. The Scrum Master will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet project objectives, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements specific to Data Center and Infrastructure projects. Acting as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, the Scrum Master will facilitate communication, remove impediments, and ensure the smooth flow of work. Additionally, they will guide and coach the team on Agile principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the context of Data Center and Infrastructure. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of Scrum activities will be essential, ensuring transparency and accountability within the team. The Scrum Master will leverage a solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies to contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues, consulting with others as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on or actively participate in moderately complex Scrum or Agile initiatives, specifically related to Data Center and Infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to Scrum deliverables, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Scrum or Agile environments, with significant exposure to Data Center and Infrastructure projects, demonstrated through work, consulting, military experience, or relevant education.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering projects within Scrum or Agile frameworks, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Deep understanding of the complexities and requirements of Data Center and Infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to evaluate complex challenges, identify variable factors, and develop effective solutions, particularly in Data Center and Infrastructure contexts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with client personnel and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements relevant to Scrum or Agile projects, especially within Data Center and Infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience working in a consulting capacity, providing Agile coaching and mentoring to teams and organizations.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile project management software.
