About the position

The Scrum Master position is focused on facilitating Agile practices within a remote team environment. The role involves leading Scrum ceremonies, coaching team members, and ensuring effective team dynamics while supporting project and organizational goals. The Scrum Master will also engage with stakeholders and promote Agile methodologies throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Daily Scrum Meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Review Meetings, and Sprint Retrospective Meetings.
• Coach team members through one-on-one coaching and mediate impediments and conflicts.
• Identify outstanding project and product decisions impacting team delivery.
• Foster the assigned team's self-organization and support Team, Project, and Organization goals with project leaders and product owners.
• Provide feedback to the team and encourage the use of Agile Practices within the development teams.
• Assist teams and vendors with release planning and maintain familiarity with the product.
• Bring people together who should meet and support each other and keep in touch with every stakeholder regularly.
• Help the team report to management and further the Agile community within the organization.
• Act as a contact person for everyone on the team and their stakeholders regarding Agile practices.
• Provide learning opportunities to people in the organization through talks or workshops on important Agile concepts and facilitate change.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years experience working in the Scrum Master role.
