About the position

The Scrum Master Lead Analyst at The Cigna Group is responsible for facilitating the agile transformation and ensuring successful delivery for one or more agile teams. This role involves providing leadership and coaching to empower teams to adopt agile principles and practices, fostering a safe environment for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Scrum Master for one or more distributed agile teams.
• Support the team through servant leadership, leading by example.
• Establish, support and facilitate team level cadence and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand up, retrospectives, backlog refinement, etc.
• Provide coaching and guidance to the team to support adoption of agile values, principles and practices.
• Provide coaching and support to Product Owner in maintaining and refining product backlog.
• Support Product Owner in prioritization and forecasting of roadmap based on team velocity and stakeholder requests.

Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master for agile teams.
• Strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead by example and earn the team's respect.
• Experience in coaching teams towards self-organization and self-management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with distributed agile teams.
• Knowledge of various agile tools and techniques.
• Ability to promote and educate agile/Scrum concepts at the team level.
