About the position

The Scrum Master position is part of the Performance & Decision Analytics Data Modeling team within the F-35 Sustainment DSA organization at Lockheed Martin. This role is crucial for managing and facilitating the Scrum process, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices. The Scrum Master will be responsible for scheduling and managing various activities, including the assessment of data model elements and attributes, the construction and delivery of contractually obligated data sets, and the documentation of processes and procedures related to data model attributes. The position requires a proactive approach to compare and contrast historical changes and performance over time of data elements and attributes, ensuring that the team remains focused on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Scrum Master will play a key role in fostering a collaborative team environment, facilitating communication among team members, and removing any impediments that may hinder the team's progress. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, allocating requirements to schedules, and performing in a Scrum Master role. This position also involves mentoring team members and promoting continuous improvement within the team, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the team is equipped to meet the challenges of the project. Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage activities for data model assessment.
  • Construct and deliver contractually obligated data sets.
  • Compare and contrast historical changes and performance of data elements.
  • Document processes and procedures for constructing data model attributes.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles.
  • Remove impediments to team progress and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 2 years of professional experience or 0 years with a related Master's degree.
  • Experience in a Scrum Master role.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data manipulation, and data analysis/science.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Programming experience with Python, R, and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Mural and SAFE Agile certification.
  • Coursework or experience in supply chain networks and predictive modeling.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
