As a Scrum Master at ABB, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the Scrum team in utilizing Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to coach, inspire, and mentor team members, fostering positive team dynamics to ensure effective collaboration both within the team and with other teams. You will be instrumental in managing risks and dependencies, ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. This position is part-time and operates in a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. In this role, you will model Agile empowering behavior to support the organization's transformation towards a new, Agile way of working. You will facilitate essential Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring full engagement from all team members. Building and leveraging effective alliances across other teams and the technical and business communities will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the team and the broader organization, ensuring that Scrum is well understood and effectively implemented. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of work experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role. Candidates should be motivated to work in a dynamic, Agile environment and possess the ability to lead people, earning their trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone. Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills are essential, along with the ability to promote positive team dynamics and collaboration. Risk management and conflict resolution skills will also be important in this role.
