About the position

The Scrum Master (Part-Time) at ABB Inc. is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment within agile squads. This role involves guiding teams in the application of agile methodologies, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring adherence to the scrum framework to deliver high-quality products and services. The Scrum Master will work closely with one or two squads, helping them achieve high performance through targeted coaching and effective development techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work with one or two squads in parallel, providing guidance on the application of agile practices and principles.
• Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the scrum framework and adherence to scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Elevate the squad to a high-performing level by identifying areas of strength and improvement.
• Facilitate team-level scrum events, including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social science, business administration, or economics.
• 1-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role applying Agile principles and practices.
• Experience in leading people with the ability to earn trust and challenge the team to improve.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a non-IT environment applying Agile principles.
