About the position

The Scrum Master (Portfolio Support) is responsible for the direct management and accountability of project scope, schedule, delivery quality, resource allocation, and budget requirements for assigned projects. This role involves leading various projects supporting the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, from initial proofs of concept to enhancements of critical systems. The Scrum Master will utilize project management methodologies, ensuring compliance with the Technology Delivery Lifecycle governance model while managing large enterprise-wide projects of high risk and complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage budget and complex, cross-technology application projects for the Security (IAM) portfolio.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation or contingency plans.
  • Identify program impediments and address them with urgency and escalation.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to foster teamwork and drive issue resolution.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with goals, schedules, and budget.
  • Follow approved TDLC and project management methodologies (Agile & Waterfall).
  • Lead project teams to deliver business and technical objectives on-time and within budget.
  • Partner with business relationship managers and portfolio managers to optimize delivery.
  • Act as gatekeeper to ensure project milestones and deliverables meet TDLC framework.
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues.
  • Orchestrate and prepare stakeholder status meetings and report on project progress.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Portfolio and Project Management or Scrum Master experience.
  • Prior experience in software development as an analyst.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC.
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical/product teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic to help the team meet commitments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in facilitation/moderation of large-scale workshops or meetings.
  • Executive presence with high business EQ.
