About the position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master/Project Manager in West Palm Beach, FL. The Scrum Master/Project Manager will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and driving project plans for client implementations within established timelines. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of the project are tracked and managed effectively. The Scrum Master/Project Manager will create and manage project documents, including, but not limited to project schedules, detailed project plans, scope documents, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issues logs, and status reports. This position is crucial for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while also meeting the needs of stakeholders. In addition to project management responsibilities, the Scrum Master/Project Manager will also be responsible for creating and maintaining product backlogs. This includes prioritizing user stories and features based on business value and stakeholder feedback. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and be able to facilitate Scrum ceremonies effectively. The role requires excellent communication skills, as the Scrum Master/Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Overall, this position is key to driving successful project outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, maintaining, and driving project plans for client implementations within established timelines.

  • Creating and maintaining product backlogs, prioritizing user stories and features based on business value and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role or significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed.
