About The Position

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead technology delivery for a financial services client. This remote contract position involves managing scrum teams on mid to large initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, and driving process improvements. The role is critical in delivering a project scheduled for early 2025, with potential for contract renewal.

Requirements

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 to 10 years experience as Scrum Master.
  • Expert knowledge of Agile Framework and Scrum with deep technical competence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Experience managing working group commitments and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Technology Delivery Manager and lead scrum teams on mid to large initiatives independently.
  • Interact with senior partners (MD/SVP) with product, delivery, and business partners (GMO and PD).
  • Collaborate with product owner, technical leads, and quality assurance leads to ensure effective cross-project communication and issue/risk management.
  • Align with Product Analyst and Product Manager to define and deliver roadmap.
  • Work with vendors to evaluate vendor solutions as needed.
  • Review and guide on project artifacts, helping coordinate meetings with subject matter experts and testing new functionality throughout the implementation.
  • Provide demonstrations of and documentation for new features in the system/software.
  • Transition all new technology solutions to the Production Operations and Support Teams.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enable operational efficiency.
  • Track and improve velocity, remove impediments, and manage risk and issue tracking.
  • Create a positive, collaborative, and supported working group environment.
  • Drive Scrum meetings on a timely and consistent basis, facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive communication, improving transparency and radiating information.
  • Track and report progress and dependencies, supporting management with periodic and ad-hoc reporting.
