About the position

The Scrum Master - SCM position at Truist Financial Corporation is focused on leading agile teams in the Capital Markets sector. The role requires a strong understanding of the Scrum framework, particularly SAFe, and involves coordinating project timelines, facilitating communication, and ensuring effective collaboration among team members. The Scrum Master will also be responsible for managing sprints, resolving conflicts, and implementing changes to enhance team performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage each project's scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Help teams implement changes effectively
• Share Agile Metrics with Client Manager after each SPRINT

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with agile teams
• Experience in a scrum master role
• Familiarity with software development
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (SAFe, Kanban)
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Experience with Agile Metrics
• Scrum Master certification is a plus
