About the position

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master to work in a hybrid capacity in San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure adherence to Agile framework values and practices, while fostering an overall Agile mindset within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate decision-making processes and eliminate any impediments that may hinder the team's progress on software initiatives. You will also be tasked with mentoring, measuring, and motivating development teams to optimize their processes and increase productivity. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will design and lead workshops aimed at educating and advocating for Agile framework values and practices, with a particular focus on Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban methodologies. Your leadership will inspire individual growth by coaching team members to become self-organizing and accountable. Throughout your work, you will embody the principles of Integrity, Caring, and Excellence, striving to achieve outcomes that benefit all stakeholders involved. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to Agile framework values and practices.
• Facilitate decision-making processes and eliminate team impediments to support software initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience on software development teams, with at least 4 years' experience as a Scrum Master working with multiple Agile teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the application of Agile frameworks and practices.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor development teams effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively present ideas, facilitate meetings and discussions, and design and lead training workshops.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
• A CSM/PSM, A-CSM, or CSP-SM certification.
