As a Scrum Master Senior with PNC you will be based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will draw on your past experience to support and facilitate multiple Scrum Teams with varying levels of complexity across various functions. Your primary responsibility will be to foster Agile values and practices, ensuring that the teams adhere to Agile principles. You will provide coaching to the teams, including newly formed ones, on how to effectively execute the Scrum Framework. Additionally, you may provide guidance to less experienced Scrum Masters, helping to elevate the overall performance of the Scrum Teams. You will organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, recommend and execute improvement opportunities to optimize team velocity while mitigating risks. Tracking and communicating the overall team progress will be essential, providing visibility to stakeholders. You will take a broader perspective to provide solutions to complex challenges, serving as a filter to remove impediments to progress identified by the teams. Protecting the teams from outside influences will be crucial to ensure they remain focused on their priorities. Collaboration with Product Owners will be key, as you will ensure that backlog items are prioritized based on business value and are ready for the teams to work on. Your role will be pivotal in aligning the teams' efforts with the strategic goals of PNC, ensuring that customer needs and satisfaction are primary considerations in all business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate multiple Scrum Teams with varying levels of complexity.
  • Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and provide coaching on the Scrum Framework.
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Track and communicate overall team progress to stakeholders.
  • Remove impediments to progress identified by the teams and protect them from outside influences.
  • Partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items based on business value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile values and practices.
  • Experience in coaching teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
