About the position
As a Senior Scrum Master at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and securing the Naval cyber security infrastructure. Your passion for outcomes and your expertise in Agile best practices will be essential in overcoming challenges and ensuring that work is completed efficiently. You will be responsible for utilizing industry best practices to update organizational policies and procedures, while also promoting the enterprise-wide adoption of a Scaled Agile Framework. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan, build, implement, and iterate on technical documentation and workflows, ultimately helping clients achieve their digital transformation objectives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your experience in tactical planning and delivery, contributing to a variety of project solutions aimed at improving data protection and security for the Navy. Your leadership will be crucial in facilitating meetings in a virtual environment with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting to shifting priorities as necessary, and will be expected to maintain a Secret clearance to support your work with the Department of the Navy or DoD programs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Agile best practices to support the development team in modernizing and securing the Naval cyber security infrastructure.
- Update organizational policies and procedures to promote the enterprise-wide adoption of a Scaled Agile Framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, build, implement, and iterate on technical documentation and workflows.
- Facilitate meetings in a virtual environment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects and adjust to shifting priorities as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Agile project management and Lean development principles.
- Experience leading and facilitating meetings in a virtual environment with stakeholders.
- Experience supporting a Department of the Navy or DoD program.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile project management tools, including ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI.
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills.
- ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certification.
