The Scrum Master and Technical Program Manager (Customer Data & Analytics & Customer Middleware) at Taco Bell plays a crucial role in coordinating team workflow, monitoring velocity, and managing risks for the team. This position is integral to supporting cross-functional forums and ensuring visibility to roadblocks that may impede progress. The Digital innovation teams, referred to as squads, will engage in agile testing processes to quickly capture value from high-impact, high-feasibility efforts. This will be achieved by leveraging insights from customer analytics to create engaging experiences and offers throughout the customer lifecycle. In this role, the Scrum Master and Technical Program Manager will maintain a program-level plan or roadmap that represents all committed work within the platform portfolio. This plan will illustrate the sequencing of work across platform teams, ensuring alignment with available engineering capacity to guarantee on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery. The individual will drive collaboration processes and tools to effectively prioritize and deliver committed work, while also implementing mechanisms for continuous improvement. This includes fostering experimentation and innovation to enhance processes, tools, and delivery methodologies. The position requires the individual to support the Customer Data Analytics (CDA) and Customer Middleware teams by facilitating team meetings to prioritize work effectively. Proactive identification and resolution of risks and issues are essential, along with the implementation of mitigation strategies. Clear communication with stakeholders regarding delivery plans and potential risks is a key responsibility. The Scrum Master will also facilitate ongoing intake triage, prioritization, handoffs, and tradeoffs between technical platform teams, fostering a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised openly. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities to strengthen the understanding of Agile concepts, principles, and practices within the teams. Collaboration with other Agile practitioners to share best practices and address challenges is also expected, promoting a unified approach to Agile implementation across teams.
