About the position

The Scrum Master role at TEKsystems focuses on facilitating and supporting agile methodologies within a banking context. The position requires a certified Scrum Master with experience in mentoring teams on the Scrum framework and scaled agile framework, assisting product owners with backlog management, and leading various agile ceremonies. The Scrum Master will act as a coach to improve team maturity and drive continuous improvement by leveraging metrics and team feedback.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
• Assists product owner in managing product backlogs to prepare for upcoming sprints.
• Helps with team preparation for program increment planning and execution.
• Acts as a team coach to improve team maturity.
• Leverages metrics and team feedback to drive improvements.
• Removes impediments to ensure team progress.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master with 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Expert knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Strong communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for work planning and tracking.
