About the position

The Scrum Master role is focused on facilitating Agile methodologies within software development teams. The position requires a strong understanding of Scrum practices and the ability to mentor teams towards self-organization and efficiency. The Scrum Master will be responsible for organizing Scrum rituals and ensuring that Agile principles are adhered to, ultimately supporting the overall performance of the teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit.
• Review and approve findings to be presented to senior management.
• Conduct statistical analyses and coordinate with other business units regarding initiatives.
• Encourage Agile behaviors, reinforce practices, norms, ceremonies, and support overall team performance and efficiency.
• Create an environment whereby the team is motivated, self-organizing, and self-sufficient.
• Organize and facilitate effective Scrum rituals: backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Mentor and guide lower level analysts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience performing the Scrum Master role for 2 or more software development teams utilizing SDLC.
• Experience with Atlassian or SAFe or LeSS (scaled agile frameworks).
• First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the administration of the Atlassian product suite.
• Experience with SAFe or LeSS (scaled agile frameworks).
• Experience with design-driven development.
