About the position

The Scrum Master for the Web/UI team at Capgemini is responsible for leading the software development team in Agile practices, ensuring effective communication, and managing project delivery. This role requires a strong background in IT project management and the ability to coach team members in Scrum methodologies. The Scrum Master will facilitate various Agile ceremonies, manage client expectations, and ensure the team adheres to best practices while delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader to the software development team.
  • Coach individuals and interactions over processes and tools in Agile practices.
  • Ensure the correct use of the Scrum process.
  • Manage RUN engagement by applying ITIL standards and managing client expectations through SLA.
  • Deliver all RUN scope activities like Incident, Problem, Environment, and Change Management.
  • Engage in corrective and preventive maintenance activities by participating in the RCA process and resolutions.
  • Minimize backlogs of issues reported from production.
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Help the Product Owner manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Resolve conflicts within the team and promote constructive disagreement.

Requirements

  • Scrum Master / Safe Agile certification required.
  • Experience in IT project management required.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and work collaboratively with clients and team members.
  • Good Application Support knowledge required.
  • Experience with Digital Technologies such as Salesforce, MSD, Content, BPM, Java, Angular.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
