About the position

As a Scrum Master at INSPYR Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in establishing collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders while providing coaching at all levels within an emerging agile environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the current organization and delivery environment, recommending optimal Agile practices that enhance team performance and product delivery. You will be expected to guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to effectively utilize Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. In this role, you will work closely with the Scrum Team and various internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making processes and support organizational project or product teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that Scrum is understood and that the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and guidelines. Your ability to recognize areas of strength and improvement within the team will be crucial, as you will employ appropriate coaching and development techniques to elevate the team's performance. Additionally, you will facilitate and support all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization, ensuring that the Scrum Team is self-organized and possesses a cross-functional skill set. You will also collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to resolve team impediments and enhance the overall effectiveness of Scrum application within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Help the team achieve high performance by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, employing coaching techniques.
• Ensure Scrum is understood and adhered to by the team, following Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, and effective communication.
• Work with Scrum Team and stakeholders to influence decision-making and support project or product teams.
• Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to enhance Scrum effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sr Scrum Master/Agile coach and other Scrum Masters for personal growth in the role.
• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
• Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile coach.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT full development life cycle.
• Agile practitioner mindset with understanding of common Agile practices and iterative development.
• Demonstrated track record of managing large and complex software implementations successfully.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional project management principles.
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
• Experience in planning and problem-solving with product management and delivery teams.
