About the position

The Project Manager facilitates the efficient and effective running of Professional Services projects (Consulting and Field support) within the Professional Services business at Park Place Technologies. This role will work closely with an internal team of engineers as well as our partners to execute the business. The PM will have responsibility for client billing, project scheduling, administration of the ticketing system, and ad hoc projects to support Technical Services. The PM will work with several different departments within the company, including our Administration, Logistical, Operations, Legal, Sales, and Finance departments. This position will be the catalyst to help grow the consulting business. In this role, you will manage daily project scheduling and consultant resourcing, serving as the primary support liaison between the company and our customers. This includes updating our ticketing system to keep the Sales team informed on the status of the project. You will also manage client billing accountability weekly and per project, validate and approve partner expenses, and maintain the partner expense master file. As a focal point for continuous process improvement, you will complete ad hoc projects and support as needed, deploying field engineers as required and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily project scheduling and consultant resourcing.
  • Serve as the primary support liaison between the company and our customers.
  • Update the ticketing system to keep the Sales team informed on project status.
  • Manage client billing accountability weekly and per project.
  • Validate and approve partner expenses and maintain partner expense master file.
  • Act as a focal point for continuous process improvement to scale the business.
  • Complete ad hoc projects and support as needed.
  • Deploy field engineers as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Project Management and/or Practice management field.
  • Experience in Third Party Maintenance, Data Center Technologies, and other aspects of the IT Asset Lifecycle.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, perform complex tasks, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community.
  • Knowledge of business practices and procedures related to networking products and technical service operations.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and judgments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Experience working with management and well-versed in the practices and demands of progressive and evolving Services organizations.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, etc.).
  • Proficient in CRM and ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime/off-hours as required.
