About the position

As a Scrum Master at Hansen Talent Group, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the agile development process for a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Scrum framework is effectively implemented and adhered to, enabling the team to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be tasked with analyzing, designing, programming, and implementing complex application tasks and projects, which will require a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects. In this role, you will devise feasible and logical procedures to resolve business problems through the use of computer resources. You will formulate the scope and objectives of projects through thorough research, which will help in the development or modification of complex systems. Your technical direction and support will be crucial in the development and support of business systems software and procedures. You will also be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging the most complex application programs, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications. Your expertise in Scrum methodologies will be essential as you guide the team through the agile process, helping them to manage Scrum artifacts effectively using tools such as Version One and Jira. You will need to demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency in programming languages, platform capabilities, and methods of systems analysis and program design. Additionally, your advanced analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills will be vital in assessing project requirements, alternatives, and risks/benefits for projects of varying impact levels. You will be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and work well under pressure as part of a collaborative team environment.

  • In-depth understanding of organizational functions and inter-relationships.
  • Scrum Master Certification from a recognized provider.
