About the position

The Scrum Master position at TEKsystems is designed for a junior to mid-level professional who will facilitate Agile practices within a team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Business Analysis who have hands-on experience in a Scrum Master capacity. The position requires on-site presence five days a week in Juno Beach, FL.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support the team in achieving their goals and removing impediments to progress.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and practices to enhance team performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and drive consensus among team members.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Business Analyst (BA) with hands-on Scrum experience.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
