About the position

The Scrum Master role at Fidelity TalentSource involves leveraging deep scrum expertise to mentor and coach teams, ensuring adherence to agile values and practices. This position is focused on enhancing squad performance and value delivery through effective facilitation of agile ceremonies, backlog management, and performance metrics analysis. The Scrum Master will collaborate with squad leaders to optimize delivery and drive continuous improvement within cross-functional teams in the Financial Crimes Compliance product area.

Responsibilities

• Advise, mentor, coach, and train teams on agile values, practices, and processes.
• Maintain a backlog and help remove impediments for the squad.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate release management and participate in scaling ceremonies.
• Examine and drive team performance through metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and update squad performance metrics and artifacts for transparency.
• Manage logistics for agile events and support the adoption of enabling tools.

Requirements

• 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Jira and agile methodologies.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Excellent communication and people-interaction skills.
