About the position
The position is for a Scrum Master with a focus on facilitating Agile practices within technology projects, particularly those involving ServiceNow. The role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to guide teams in optimizing their performance and delivery capabilities. The Scrum Master will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to Agile principles and corporate standards while managing project complexities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the scrum process for moderately complex projects and maintenance work.
- Guide scrum teams in following Agile and Scrum practices, promoting prioritization and team readiness for each Sprint.
- Optimize scrum team velocity and identify improvement opportunities for higher performance levels.
- Deliver capabilities using agile practices while adhering to the Software Development Lifecycle and business process mapping.
- Partner with discipline managers to ensure governance policies and corporate standards are met.
- Facilitate Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams.
- Collaborate with product owners and project managers to communicate work product delivery and escalate risks and issues.
- Consult with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Interact with internal customers and receive direction from leaders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent experience in Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kanban and Jira.
- Experience with ServiceNow is preferable.
- SAFe certification and experience is desired.
