Our innovative hardware, software, and services empower global leaders to push the limits of what's possible with VR and XR. As Varjo continues to lead in the immersive technology space, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will facilitate Agile processes, support our development teams, and drive continuous improvement. Your leadership will be key in helping our teams stay focused, deliver value, and maintain the high standards that define Varjo's cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and coach the Scrum teams in Agile practices, ensuring they adhere to the core principles and best practices of Scrum.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a servant leader to the team, removing impediments and fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can excel.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure that backlogs are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
  • Help teams stay focused on delivering high-quality products by promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance, track progress, and provide regular feedback to help teams improve their processes and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to share best practices, align on methodologies, and drive overall process improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a track record of successfully facilitating Agile processes in a technology-driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, with hands-on experience guiding teams through the full lifecycle of development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with a focus on removing obstacles and finding innovative solutions to improve team productivity.
  • Passion for technology, particularly VR/XR, with an interest in working in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools, including JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile management platforms.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
