About the position

As a Scrum Master at Robert Half, you will play a pivotal role in driving product delivery and fostering an Agile environment within our innovative team. This position is designed for an experienced Scrum Master who is eager to lead, influence, and coach a dynamic team towards adopting and excelling in Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for aligning with stakeholders to ensure that product delivery is optimized in terms of cost, time, and scope. Your expertise will be crucial in deploying Agile methodologies for our IT-supported business products, ensuring accountability and driving results through effective collaboration with team members. In this role, you will guide teams through the Agile process, facilitating Scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. You will actively work to remove obstacles that hinder progress and foster a culture of self-organization, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team. Your ability to establish effective processes will be key in identifying areas for improvement and helping the team maintain daily progress. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong partnerships with internal customers to understand their business needs and ensure that the team is aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities

  • Driving product delivery by effectively aligning with stakeholders and driving results through team members.
  • Balancing cost, time, and scope to optimize product completion.
  • Ensuring accountability by deploying Agile methodologies for IT-supported business products.
  • Guiding teams to improve collaboratively with frequent Scrum meetings and removal of obstacles.
  • Facilitating sprints planning, retrospectives, and demos with effective inter-team coordination.
  • Actively fostering self-organization, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team.
  • Establishing effective and efficient processes after identifying areas for improvement.
  • Helping the team maintain daily progress and continuously identifying areas for improvement.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with internal customers to understand their business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Scrum Master within the Financial Services industry
  • Proven expertise in Agile Development and Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools and techniques for efficient team communication and project management
  • Certified Scrum Master credential is required
  • Demonstrated experience in leading Scrum Teams and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Mastery of ScrumMaster practices and principles, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • ScrumMaster Certification is a prerequisite for this role
  • SAFe Agilist certification is desirable
  • Proficiency in the Kanban method, with the ability to implement it effectively within a team
  • Experience in leading teams using the Kanban method is essential.
