About the position

The Scrum Master role is a critical position within an industry-leading company experiencing accelerated business growth. This position focuses on facilitating Agile practices, ensuring effective communication among teams, and mentoring team members to adopt best practices in Scrum and Agile methodologies. The Scrum Master will work closely with product owners and senior leaders to align business objectives with development efforts, while also providing metrics and insights to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Partner with product owners, product managers, and senior leaders to ensure business objectives are understood in features and user stories, epics, and roadmap development.
• Identify and manage dependencies with other internal or external teams.
• Provide metrics and team health status to senior management.
• Mentor team members on Agile/Scrum/Kanban best practices.
• Identify, track, report, and facilitate the resolution of issues and risks.
• Implement and understand change practices, DevOps practices, and processes.
• Create and track metrics of team progress and productivity, using metrics to help the team improve.
• Provide support to the team using servant leadership and leading by example.
• Build a trusting and safe environment for teams to express themselves freely, collaborate, and experiment.
• Train the team on Agile principles and practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Scrum Master experience within an enterprise company.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
• Experience working with offshore teams.
• Experience working with product and technology teams.
• Proficiency in Jira/Rally.
• CSM or SAFe certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorships are not available.
