About the position

As a SCRUM Master on the MMA team, you lead the implementation of Agile methodologies and facilitate collaboration within the team. You prioritize requirements and guide the team through sprint planning and backlog grooming. You foster continuous improvement and coordinate cross-functional teams. Your analytical skills help identify and address obstacles, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality applications. Overall, as a SCRUM Master, you play a vital role in promoting collaboration, efficiency, and adherence to MMA's technology standards.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the implementation and adherence to Agile methodologies within the team.
  • Guide the team through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Guide the team in adopting agile data practices, such as iterative data modeling and continuous data integration.
  • Facilitate retrospectives and feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement in data-related processes.
  • Facilitate data-related Scrum events, such as Data Sprint Planning, Data Stand-ups, Data Reviews, and Data Retrospectives.
  • Remove obstacles and blockers that hinder the team's progress.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Ensure the team has a clear understanding of project goals and priorities.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
  • Act as a servant leader, supporting the team's needs and facilitating their success.
  • Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution within the team.
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates.
  • Advocate for the team's needs and ensure a productive and positive work environment.
  • Continuously assess and improve team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Nice-to-haves
