About the position

As a Scrum Master at our innovative global bank in Irving, TX, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. This contract role, with a strong possibility of extension, requires a hybrid work schedule, where you will be expected to work onsite 2-3 days per week. You will be joining one of the world's most renowned banks, a trusted brand with over 200 years of experience in continuously evolving financial services worldwide. In this role, you will act as a servant leader to the Scrum Team, ensuring the team's effectiveness and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry, who are eager to share their knowledge and learn from your experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include working within a scaled agile implementation as part of an Agile Release Train (ART) and collaborating with a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure that dependencies are understood and managed effectively. You will be responsible for understanding the team-level backlog and goals, surfacing and resolving team-level risks and impediments, and establishing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies in accordance with the requirements. This role is crucial in driving the agile transformation within the organization and ensuring that the Scrum Team operates at its highest potential.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a servant leader to the Scrum Team, accountable for the team's effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Work within a scaled agile implementation as part of an Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Collaborate with a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to manage dependencies effectively.
  • Understand and manage the team-level backlog and goals.

  • Establish and facilitate Scrum ceremonies in line with requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/University degree.
  • 5-8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working with technical development teams.
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Ability to develop high performing agile teams.
  • SAFe certification.
  • Energetic and motivating with effective communication skills.
