About the position

The Scrum Master will guide teams through the transition to agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, to enhance team effectiveness and support organizational objectives. This role involves facilitating sprint planning, leading daily stand-ups, and coaching teams in agile best practices while maintaining alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate iteration (sprint) planning and coordinate retrospectives and demos.
• Assist product owners with backlog creation and prioritization.
• Ensure cross-functional team coordination among GUI designers, analysts, developers, and testers.
• Lead daily sprint stand-ups and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain and publish Agile metrics such as velocity and burn-down.
• Coach teams to effectively plan work and deliver to business partners.
• Mentor and promote Agile best practices across the organization.
• Manage project external dependencies by collaborating with outside teams.
• Strategically address complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Build and maintain business relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Scrum Master Certification.
• High level of familiarity with Jira.
• Experience leading daily sprint stand-ups and resolving conflicts.
• Experience maintaining and publishing Agile metrics.

Nice-to-haves

• Healthcare/Medical or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
