About the position

As a Scrum Master for one of the SAFFIRE Agile development teams, you will be working closely with developers, government product owners, business analysts, and the user engagement team to ensure that the developed software is meeting stakeholder needs. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps. Your role will involve facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives, while championing a culture of continuous improvement. You will assist the product owner and development team in meeting mission objectives by helping prioritize work, removing impediments from progress, and coaching the team on Agile processes. Additionally, you will help resolve issues and conflicts that arise during development and work across Product Teams to ensure end-to-end solutions for the Release Train. You may also contribute in various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based on your specific technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.

• Contribute in various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based on specific technical expertise.

Requirements

• Top Secret or Top-Secret SCI clearance and polygraph preferred.
• Prior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work with and lead a team.
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Understanding of all stages of the SDLC.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies.
• Scrum Master or other Agile certification.
• Technical background in Software Development, AI/ML.
• Information Assurance certification (like Security+).
• Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions.
• Domain experience in Imagery Analysis or Computer Vision.
