About The Position

Security Finance is hiring a Remote Scrum Master! As a Scrum Master, you can expect to play a crucial role in fostering a high-performing Agile environment. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework and ensuring they are empowered to deliver exceptional results. This is a 100% remote position, but candidates must reside in one of the states where our organization performs business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and supports for all scrum events for assigned teams: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Manages each project's scope and product backlog ensuring that the sprint is maintained as prioritized by the Product Owner and Development Manager.
• Helps to deliver solutions on time by working with Development and QA staff to status work and report status and risks to Product Owner and Development Manager.
• Works with the Product Owner to properly refine tickets ensuring the ticket is suitably defined and sized and scheduled per the direction of the Product Owner.
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration helping to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles hindering progress.
• Supports the team by working with support staff and external teams to help triage newly raised incidents.
• Promote the growth of agile practices to a high maturity in the organization and in the teams helping management build self-driving teams.
• Assist the Product Owner and Development Manager in delivering high quality solutions on time by tracking and reporting KPIs.
