About the position

The Scrum Master will facilitate agile ceremonies and guide scrum teams in agile practices and principles. This role is essential for ensuring smooth project progress by helping teams identify and remove impediments, collaborating with product owners, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will also provide training and support to team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Guide and coach the scrum teams on agile practices and principles
• Help teams identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth project progress
• Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and ensure clear communication of project goals
• Support the teams in achieving a high level of performance and quality
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams
• Assist teams in transitioning to agile practices and adapting to the agile environment
• Provide training and support to team members as needed
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master
• Proven experience in an agile environment with a strong understanding of all agile ceremonies
• Experience as a Scrum Master over infrastructure/data storage teams is highly preferred
• Experience with non-software development teams is the second preference
• Experience with software development teams but willing to work with non-traditional groups is the third preference
• Ability to oversee around 4 scrum teams
