About the position

As a Scrum Master at PNC, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices within one to two Scrum Teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to Agile principles, coach teams on the Scrum framework, and optimize team performance by removing impediments and enhancing communication with stakeholders. This remote position is based in the Akron, OH market and emphasizes a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate one to two Scrum Teams by fostering Agile values and practices.
  • Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and provide coaching on the Scrum framework.
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies and identify improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality.
  • Track and communicate overall team progress to provide visibility to stakeholders.
  • Remove impediments to progress as identified by the team and protect the team from outside influences.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to prioritize backlog items based on business value.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Development, Coaching, Conflict Management, and Group Facilitation.
