About the position

The SCRUM Master at NTT DATA will lead and coach teams in Agile scrum methodology, facilitating key ceremonies and ensuring adherence to project goals. This role involves collaboration with product owners, managing project deliverables, and providing status updates to senior leadership. The SCRUM Master will also work to remove impediments, guide teams in self-organization, and maintain strong customer relationships while managing multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach teams using Agile scrum methodology and practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the product owner on backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Provide detailed status and deliverables to senior leadership on project requirements.
  • Guide the product owner and development team on Agile best practices.
  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization and remove impediments.
  • Report status and progress metrics to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Manage changes affecting scope, schedule, and resources with an integrated plan.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to ensure full testing is performed to project standards.
  • Provide thought leadership and adapt communication techniques for various audiences.
  • Conduct weekly project meetings and produce daily/weekly status reports.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve blocking issues to meet client requirements.
  • Cultivate and manage strong customer relationships at the senior leadership level.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required.

  • Previous experience managing Data Pods.
  • Hands-on experience with scope and change management issues.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced CSM and PMP certifications.
