About the position
The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in leading a data-focused team, ensuring accountability among leaders and stakeholders while facilitating agile practices. This position is contract-to-hire and allows for a hybrid work environment, with two days onsite in Columbus and three days remote. The Scrum Master will support a team of 12 members working on projects related to data lakes and data manipulation, utilizing Kanban methodologies and JIRA for project management.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to agile principles.
- Hold leaders and high-level stakeholders accountable for their commitments.
- Support a data-focused team in projects related to data lakes and data manipulation.
- Utilize JIRA for project management and tracking progress.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Experience with the PSK Framework (Kanban).
- Familiarity with data engineering and data lake projects.
- Experience with Azure.
- Strong leadership skills.
