About the position

As a Scrum Master at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), you will lead the implementation of Agile methodologies within the Data team, facilitating collaboration and continuous improvement. Your role involves guiding the team through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality applications while promoting adherence to MMA's technology standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Agile methodologies and facilitate collaboration within the team.
• Prioritize requirements and guide the team through sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Foster continuous improvement and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Identify and address obstacles to ensure successful delivery of applications.
• Facilitate M&A Data Integration sessions and manage multiple scrum teams.
• Act as a liaison between the team and external stakeholders to address challenges.
• Guide the team in adopting agile data practices, such as iterative data modeling.
• Facilitate data-related Scrum events, including Data Sprint Planning and Data Retrospectives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team reflections during retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a Scrum Master or similar role.
• Experience in managing M&A activities and stakeholder management.
• Ability to create, review, and approve plans for delivering M&A project outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and address obstacles.
