About the position

As a Scrum Master at PNC, you will play a crucial role in guiding and coaching Agile teams within the Enterprise Big Data Applications organization. This position is focused on facilitating Scrum events for 2-3 teams, driving Agile transformation, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles. You will be responsible for fostering an inclusive workplace culture, enhancing team collaboration, and delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Model Agile values by guiding and coaching teams on Agile practices and principles.
  • Coach product teams in self-organization and effective communication.
  • Lead teams in effective backlog management and value-based prioritization.
  • Contribute to the development and management of release plans and manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to enhance organizational practices.
  • Facilitate key team ceremonies including Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Identify and resolve impediments to increase organizational effectiveness.
  • Promote a growth mindset and encourage teams to leverage discovery and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Retail technology background is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a Product Operating Model.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile engineering practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional Agile certifications (e.g., CSP, PSM, SAFe) are highly desirable.
  • Experience implementing custom software solutions and SaaS based solutions.
