About the position

The position focuses on enhancing the efficiency of the Agile team in delivering sprint goals. The role emphasizes accountability, adherence to Agile ceremonies, and fostering a safe environment for open communication and problem-solving. The individual will coach the team towards higher maturity levels while supporting the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and facilitating effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the team meets sprint goals efficiently.
  • Hold the team accountable for completing Agile ceremonies in a value-added manner.
  • Ensure adherence to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done by the Product Owner.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment for team discussions and problem-solving.
  • Assess team and organizational maturity and coach towards improvement.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency.
  • Support the Product Owner in refining and maintaining a healthy product backlog.
  • Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style.
  • Support the release process.

Requirements

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Ability to create a safe and trusting team environment.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and decision-making processes.
  • Strong communication skills to assist with internal and external communication.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  • Knowledge of metrics for team performance assessment.
  • Familiarity with product backlog management.
