About the position

We are seeking a Certified Scrum Master with a strong background in Wealth Management to lead Agile practices for a confidential banking client in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth project delivery and fostering collaboration among stakeholders while adhering to Agile principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team follows Agile principles and practices, helping remove roadblocks.
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to meet business goals.
• Apply Wealth Management experience to ensure projects are aligned with client objectives.
• Promote a positive and collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Background in Wealth Management or Banking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with banking regulations and working with confidential clients.
• Knowledge of distributed team management is a plus.
