About the position

The Scrum Master at Insight Global is responsible for leading and facilitating scrum and scaled agile ceremonies for multiple scrum teams, ensuring effective delivery on the Development Backlog for the ECG Solutions ART. This role requires collaboration with other scrum masters and stakeholders to track commitments and manage dependencies, while also focusing on continuous improvement through metrics and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead and facilitate scrum and scaled agile ceremonies for multiple scrum teams.
  • Align with other scrum masters within the SAFe release train and across the organization to track PI and sprint commitments.
  • Coordinate/manage dependencies and help remove impediments.
  • Use metrics to identify team improvement opportunities and look externally for best practices to support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all work is tracked in the backlog for both PI and sprint planning, accurately tracking and balancing work across team members.
  • Maintain and update the team's process metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear communications to stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate logistics for Agile ceremonies and practices, such as backlog maintenance, DoR/DoD, sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a scrum master role or similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years' hands-on software development experience or experience working heavily with software development teams.
  • Scrum Master certification required.
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, and Azure DevOps.
  • Proven track record in driving organizational results through influence.
  • Strong abstract, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience delivering across R&D teams.
  • People-focused, collaborative, team player with a drive for results.

Nice-to-haves

  • M.S. degree preferred.
  • Experience in Product/Software Development and Design Controls within a medically regulated environment is preferred.
  • SAFe certifications preferred.
