About the position

Modis is seeking a highly adaptable Scrum Master to join our Enterprise Delivery Practice team, which consists of 30 dedicated professionals focused on scaling agility across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and prioritize quick delivery of better solutions. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating various Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos. You will assist the product owner in maintaining a well-groomed backlog and ensure effective cross-team coordination. Your ability to reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal will be crucial in maintaining the flow of work. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining relevant metrics that help the team assess their performance and progress. You will also coach and mentor other Scrum Masters within our product team to ensure consistency in our ways of working across different teams. Effective communication will be key as you liaise between the Scrum team and the Product Owner/User Experience team, fostering better collaboration between these disciplines. As a servant leader, you will earn the respect of your team, empowering them to self-organize while being willing to engage directly in tasks to ensure successful outcomes. Your assertiveness will be essential in ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum principles, acting as a voice of reason and authority when necessary. You will facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts, explore alternatives, and elevate issues to management when needed. Transparency is a core value for this position, as you will strive to bring disclosure to the business regarding development processes, thereby fostering trust within the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Rally, hold a Scrum Master industry certification, and be familiar with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). A solid understanding of various processes and methodologies, along with the ability to leverage different techniques to add value to the team and enterprise, is also required.
