About the position

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a talented Scrum Master to join our Product Engineering Services practice. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating all scrum ceremonies, identifying and assisting with the removal of impediments, and escalating issues through the Scrum of Scrum board. You will need to understand the state of the team and each member, providing continuous coaching to both the Product Owner and the Development Team. Documentation of retrospective feedback and preparing bi-weekly reports on Scrum team performance will also be key responsibilities. Effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders is essential, as is providing transparency to Program Leadership about the state of the Scrum Team. Additionally, you will be involved in resource capacity planning, taking into account holidays and vacations as input for quarterly PI/Sprint planning. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies
  • Identify and assist with removing impediments
  • Escalate impediments through Scrum of Scrum board
  • Understand the state of the team and each member of the team
  • Provide continuous coaching to Product Owner and Dev Team
  • Document Retro Feedback
  • Prepare Bi-weekly Report ('Wall Chart') on Scrum team performance
  • Communicate effectively to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide transparency to Program Leadership about the state of the Scrum Team
  • Resource Capacity Planning (Holidays, Vacation, etc.) as input to Quarterly PI/Sprint planning

Requirements

  • Certified Scrum Master/PMP with minimum 10 years hands-on experience as Scrum Master in web application development projects
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in delivering projects in Agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in JIRA - boards setup, organization & reporting
  • Strong Facilitation & communication skills
  • Conflict resolution & Problem-solving skills
  • Team Organization & coaching skills
  • Leadership and time management skills
