About the position

As a Scrum Master at CACI, you will play a pivotal role in the SAFFIRE team, which is dedicated to developing and operating advanced Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. This position is not just about managing Agile processes; it is about being a key member of a leadership team that is committed to delivering solutions that address some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and government product owners to build enterprise software that meets mission needs, ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on delivering high-quality results. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, assisting the product owner and development team in prioritizing work and removing impediments that may hinder progress. As a coach, you will guide the team on Agile processes and help resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during development. Collaboration across Product Teams will be essential to ensure end-to-end solutions for the Agile Release Train, and you may also contribute to various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based on your technical expertise. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth technical knowledge of Machine Learning and AI solutions to ensure that the team utilizes the most advanced techniques in their projects. Your ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and your strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills will be crucial to your success as a Scrum Master. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.

  • Assist the product owner and development team in prioritizing work and removing impediments.
  • Coach the team on Agile processes and methodologies.

  • Work across Product Teams to ensure end-to-end solutions for the Agile Release Train.
  • Contribute to various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based on specific technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Experience with Agile Software Development and Scrum.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work with and lead a team effectively.
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies.
  • Scrum Master or other Agile certification.
  • Technical background in Software Development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning/AI solutions.
  • Information Assurance certification (like Security+).
  • Experience delivering Enterprise Software.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions.
