About the position

ASRC Federal Vistronix is actively seeking a Scrum Master to join our team and support development efforts for a government client in Kansas City. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating the agile development process, ensuring that the team adheres to agile principles and practices. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, manage project risks, and ensure that migration efforts are executed smoothly and efficiently. In this role, the Scrum Master will be responsible for coordinating sync meetings to engage with stakeholders, gathering project requirements to aid in migration planning and delivery. The successful candidate will document project risks and impediments, collaborating with necessary resources to mitigate risks or accept them, and notifying all parties of the acceptance and plan if risks come to fruition. Weekly touchpoints with Deployment Managers, Project Managers, Federal Leads, and security will be essential to discuss migration status, blockers, conflict resolution, and schedules to support the continued movement of migrations. Additionally, the Scrum Master will support Federal Leadership in providing weekly and monthly briefings, planning and coordinating AWS migrations and related milestones, and ensuring that migration work and status are properly tracked in Jira and on dashboards. This position requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, adapt to frequently changing priorities, and follow processes to track work and incidents in Jira and Service Now.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of Sync meetings to engage with Stakeholders to gather project requirements to aid in migration planning and delivery.
• Document project risks and impediments, collaborate with necessary resources to mitigate risk or accept risk, notifying all parties of the acceptance and plan if risk comes to fruition.
• Weekly touchpoints with Deployment Managers, Project Managers, Federal Leads and security regarding migration status, blockers, conflict resolution and schedules to support continued movement of migrations.
• Support Federal Leadership in efforts to provide weekly/monthly briefings.
• Planning and coordination for AWS migrations and related milestones.
• Ensure migration work and status are properly tracked in Jira and on dashboards.

Requirements

• Four-year technical degree such as Business Information Systems, project management or a combination of at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to speak in front of large audiences, utilizing clear and concise oral and written communication.
• Ability to clearly communicate goals, deadlines, and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• The ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
• Follow processes and track work and incidents in Jira and Service Now.

Nice-to-haves

• 3-5 years of project management experience or Scrum Master experience.
• Project management, scrum master or other SAFE certifications.
